Synopsis
Program topics include: Indications for performing echocardiographic examination; standard body orientation and imaging planes used when performing an echocardiographic examination; identifying normal cardiac anatomy and performing a subjective assessment of cardiac function; basic 2-D measurements included in a routine echocardiographic examination; basic ultrasound system optimization for echocardiography.The Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute designates the described educational activities for up to the indicated credit hours in Category I of the Physician's Recognition Award for the American Medical Association. Each physician should claim only those hours that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. |
