Steve Korn Joins Cardiotext Publishing

Cardiotext Publishing, a new choice for authors in the cardiovascular community, is proud to announce that Steve Korn has joined its editorial team as publisher, executive vice president. Steve will be a tremendous asset as Cardiotext takes the next step in developing its publishing program in clinical cardiovascular medicine. A cofounder of Futura Publishing and most recently a senior vice president at Wiley-Blackwell Publishing, Steve brings extensive experience to the team as a publisher, an advocate for authors, and a marketing strategist.

With the success of Dictionary of Cardiac Pacing, Defibrillation, Resynchronization, and Arrhythmias, by Drs. David L. Hayes and Samuel J. Asirvatham of Mayo Clinic, Cardiotext Publishing is reaching an audience of cardiologists, internists, and others who have been served by its sales and distribution arm since 1991. And now, with Steve's deep knowledge of the cardiovascular field and his professional approach to acquiring and developing projects, Cardiotext Publishing will distinguish itself further by its

  • responsiveness to authors,
  • timely acquiring decisions and publishing processes,
  • thoughtfully developed print and electronic resources, and
  • aggressive international marketing campaigns, including exhibits at professional meetings.

We are excited to have Steve with us, and we look forward to establishing close, collaborative relationships with our authors.
